Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has received an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to supply gas pump techniques for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gas pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It can additionally be the second LNG fuel pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the final yr. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that gross sales might improve even further in 2022.
