Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and complete metering methods. The company employs around 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long tradition of supporting customers and creating leading industrial move know-how for environment friendly, exact and safe dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and know-how providing within positive displacement pumps.”

The primary part of the acquired companies will have its base in the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
