Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from private fairness firm Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu area of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used primarily within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics purposes.

The acquired business will turn into part of the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
